About Us

Our Long Island Wildflowers

The outyards, where we keep our bees, are located in some of the most pristine environments found on Long Island. The variety of pollen and nectar-producing trees, plants, and wildflowers in these areas enables us to offer a seasonal assortment of wildflower honey flavors unrivaled by any other produced on Long Island.

Why trust
Tom's Honey & Bees?

Experienced Beekeeping

For over 30 years, we have provided pollination services to Long Island farmers and we now manage over 200 hives.

Our Pure Process

Our honey is strained, not filtered, pasteurized or highly processed. We only extract, strain, settle, and bottle.

Pure Natural Flavor

Our product retains all the flavor and properties of pure raw honey, including pollen, propolis, natural enzymes, complex sugars, and vitamins.

Locally Raised Bees

Our honey bees are well adapted to Long Island's climate. They are highly productive with minimal intervention.

Wholesome Hives

We utilize the most natural hive management practices possible to preserve the original properties of pure, raw honey.

Gentle Bee Care

We never treat our bees with hard chemicals that linger in the comb or honey. No antibiotics, poisons, or contamination.

Our Methods

Here at Tom's Honey & Bees, we go to great lengths so our bees thrive, not just survive. This means experimenting with different beekeeping methods, trying new bee yards, breeding our own queens, and introducing new bee strains to our apiary. It takes passion, hard work, experience, good bees, solid equipment, and a bit of luck from Mother Nature to be successful. We are bee farmers, and we sell what we harvest, breed, and build!
